No patching wont make a difference. If you have updated to the latest dash, and tried to run either fable 3 or ACB, then you have now flagged your console for banning. I realise your new mate, but I have said at all points not to try booting this game as it wont work.

No mate, its not the fw of the drive that stops the game booting. Its the AP2.5 protection built into the disc, and dashboard that counteract the game booting. If your on the new dash, these games will not boot until LT+ comes out.

Even on the old dash ACB wont work as it makes you update to the new dash before it will even play.

Both my box's one with samsung and the other with hitachi update from the kinect discs fine and both play all my backup kinect discs fine.

Thanks for the info, but were talking about assassins creed brotherhood, and not the new kinect games.

I also have a flashed box that's got the new dash ..

And fable 3 plays but acb doesn't ..

On the box with lite on drive neither play..

Ok one of your xboxes has a hitachi drive then. If both boxes have the new kinect dash, then you have flagged both boxes for bans.

No-one with a liteon drive can play ACB, no matter what wave its been patched too. The only people playing ACB are people with jtag consoles, as you can modify the .xex, and it will then boot fine.

Its currently in testing, but cant see it being released before next year.

You just need to edit the iso and delete or edit the $systemupdate folder in order to play it on any dashboard.

then rn it through abgx to make sure the reassembled iso's checks out ok in terms of ss, dmi, pfi, splitvids and the like check out ok.

It wont be live safe however, but it will run.

Thats only for jtag consoles mate, it wont run on a normal console, as it wont pass the checks, therefore it will not boot. Only people playing this are ones with old hitachi drives as no ap2.5 checks, and people with jtag.

You can update to the new dash via USB, then try booting the game if you have an older hitachi drive, and some samsungs are working. But samsung is very hit and miss, and you will likely flag yourself for a ban.

C4 has said LT+ will be released before christmas too, as its now in testing.
