I used to use an xbox to power the drives, and it caused nothing but problems. I lost a few drives because of this, and had to recover the drive fw.

Got a CK3 and best money I spent in prep for flashing drives.

You can also rip games using a standard pc dvd rom, saves all that messing about. Some people say it takes about 30-45mins doing it. Mines only takes about 10mins a game.

I know you probably already know this as there's hundreds of vids on youtube about it,.. saves all that messing about with 360 drive adapters and stuff

I've ripped about 5 games using my standard pc dvd burner no probs, and I'm a noob at this 360 stuff. You just need wxripper, a DVD with more than 7.5gb of data on it (boxset dvd's usually are more than 7.5gb) and a paper clip...... and the game you're ripping

Theres a little more to it though(magic numbers and stuff)but just watch a few youtube vids and once you've done it a few times its quick and easy from then on
