    stick in another gig of ram m8 that should sort out a lot of ur probs..

      Ram won't solve a driver conflict which is the issue.

      But thanks for the advice it's at least a suggestion which is most welcome.

      It is doing my tree in as I can't give up on the silly thing

        open up your device manager select the display adapter and do an online update

        also putting more ram into ur computer will make it run faster and u will have noticeable difference
