Help Streaming ADMC Sports....

I registered for the full HD package the other day and when I tested it I was well impressed. Today though at the 3pm kick off when the load on the servers was at its max the usual problems started to materialise. The picture quality with regards to clarity was good but the stuttering was poor. I think that it is all down to the Geo routing method that we use. I tried Hola (free server) which was the best but not great and I also used SmartDNS(paid server) which was poor. These are the areas that need sorting.

I've complained to SmartDNS and await a reply, but I am wondering if anyone was happy with there viewing today and if they are willing to share there configuration with us?

Anyone else experiencing the Al Jazeera website running extremely slow? Cannot get it to load any streams up!

had the exact problem - switched from hd6 (r keys / andy gray gassing) to hd5 - was hanging like saddam!! Took 5-10mins to get back in... Well think it was 315 that I got in...guess there was a mass load on their servers at 3pm

The Al Jazeera app got updated today in the apple AppStore, you will have to log into the Egypt or any Middle East store for it to update.

It now shows the HD channels, the stream was decent but it wasn't amazing.

They are not higher bit rate streams though, they are standard definition streams with a HD logo at the top right.

I received an email saying the new app should have the higher bitrate stream option and they are waiting for apple to approve it. I think android already have the option? They usually get through to the play store quicker.

Yes the android app has this option but the android app doesn't work. Hopefully the apple app will be updated soon as the current stream aren't very good for me.

How did you all find the quality, had a few glitches were the bitrate dropped massively, but then seemed to recover after a short time?

I got English audio on HD on the website, there is a selection at the bottom right, audio 1 and audio 2 and it English can be selected from there.

Seems to have been a glitch with the site at 3pm for 5mins (strangely my ipad still worked though) all ok now but all the hd channels are foreign commentary. Have to watch English on sd picture not as good as hd but acceptable
