I watched southampton v w ham. All ok except for last five minutes when couldn't get back on either smartdns or hola. Not sure what the hell is going on. Just tried connecting (10.30pm) on smartdns and everything fine again.
opsmonkey - not sure if you're aware but apparently you risk having your account suspended using hola (not sure why though).
As I said in my previous post, I'm not sure why myself but there is mention in this thread of someone who got suspended because of Hola and the WatchJSC guide mentions it. I would like this to be proved wrong though as it is a good free backup to overplay
The watchJSC guide does say something about it.However it seems to promote smartDNS which is payabe over any other dns products and specifically has a go a a free product It may of course be true or it could be a vested interest. Thus so far on several sites I have yet to see a whole lot of people being banned for using hola. Makes you wonder. Come 19.45 tonight and openplay don't sort themselves out then I will be using hola.
Overplay have confirmed that AJS are blocking their smart DNS service. They say its a temporary issue. More evidence that the prem are making sure their full product is not available in this country.

I can't see how that is the case it was working perfectly well for the Southampton game, unless they are just blocking the Saturday 3pm games

Yeah that did occur to me as to why they heavily promote overplay. I'm no teccie so I don't understand the ins and outs of dns and vpn's. I have been looking at other vpns and there are loads of alternatives which I guess I'll be trying shortly. Incidentally WatchJSC twitter feed is now recommending an alternative vpn Hide My Ass. This is quite expensive though at about ?7 per month but may be worth it if overplay keeps messing up. There are cheaper vpn services out there but I know that Hide My Ass gets good reviews and is quite quick for streaming apprently.

WatchJSC certainly has a vested interest ! I have coped and pasted the following from Overplay website..
