It seems the problem with firefox is as you say, addons ! I disabled Java addon and all seems well, all my security is up to date thankfully, thanks for you help

Hi M8, one thing that sprang to mind was that you dont have a retore point. This can indicate that you have some sort of Malware on the machine. In the last 10 years I have fixed countless amounts of machines that have indicated similar symptoms.
Before you do anything drastic, down load and run the following, they are all free in their basic form and it might just save you from formatting.
Spybot Search & Destroy
Malwarebytes
Lavasoft Adaware
Superantispyware
I would suggest that you download all these to one folder on your desktop and place in the bottom left of your screen - when you boot in safe your icons will become large and you may lose them off the screen. Restart in Safemode (F8) - keep hitting whilst rebooting. Whislt running in safemode many of your applications wont be running and therefore the above applications scan all non-running so will find.
Runn all the above applications and then reboot, you might be amazed at what is on your machine.
Worth a try before you take the drastic action of formatting.Comment

right click my computer / properties / device manager / and do u get a little yellow waring box next to sound , video ang gameing controller?
if yes or no right click and update anyway
it could have also flicked on digital output in ur settingsComment
