    Headphone Help

Hi folks is their anyway I don?t after unplug my headphones from the back of my TV to get the sound back on when I am not using them, ie save having to put my hand round the back to unplug lead , I have them on a extension lead I thought if I unplugged them from the extension lead the sound would come on but it doesn?t, still got to take it out at the back (the extension lead) our peg she likes to read so the headphones are handy.. On our old TV I didn?t have to unplug them but got a new TV and got unplug them to get the sound back on, I have looked on line at wireless but don?t know if i will after do that at the back with them.. Sorry if the grammars not great

Hi M8 I will start with I aint the brightest star in the sky I have just found a e manual on the TV and had a look here what it says > refer to the diagram and connect the headphones to the headphone output connector. only use headphones with a 3-conductor TRS type jack. The headphone volume and TV volume are adjusted independently of each other while the headphones are connected, the TV speakers are muted and certain sound options are deactivated its a Samsung model UE40F5500 in a nut shell i don't want to have to keep unplugging them when i have finished using them.. the socket its got the cursor on it in the screen shot, a few other connecters maybe some one may know a work with them the old Panasonic I had I could leave them plugged in. wish i still had it . I got to sleep now have a nice weekend thanks again

Had same problem so connected these ( creative gigaworks t20 series 11 multimedia speakers) got them cheap with amazon voucher. decent sound plus headphone jack is on speaker so easier to plug and unplug, could be an option for you.

If you have audio outputs on the front or side of the telly have a look here.

Also consider a scart to 3.5mm headphone jack. From amazon also.

I tried that m8, its got audio in but cant see audio out well i plugged it in the others on the tv and it wont work sadly, i got one rca connection lead you mention into my dvd recorder audio out and it works i after turn down the volume on the TV with this method and obviously got to have the DVD recorder on, theirs no volume control this way via ther recorder but its not to loud to be honest, gee this TV must have cost about ?30 to make ****ing plastic scared to open the window when theirs a breeze blowing

                  thanks

Surely it has a scart socket for the scart to 3.5mm option.

If it does you could make your own lead
Pins 1 and 3 are audio outputs.
