Hi M8 I will start with I aint the brightest star in the sky
I have just found a e manual on the TV and had a look here what it says > refer to the diagram and connect the headphones to the headphone output connector. only use headphones with a 3-conductor TRS type jack. The headphone volume and TV volume are adjusted independently of each other while the headphones are connected, the TV speakers are muted and certain sound options are deactivated its a Samsung model UE40F5500 in a nut shell i don't want to have to keep unplugging them when i have finished using them.. the socket its got the cursor on it in the screen shot, a few other connecters maybe some one may know a work with them the old Panasonic I had I could leave them plugged in. wish i still had it
. I got to sleep now have a nice weekend thanks again
