    is full hd really needed?

    I am going to purchase a new tv next week and will be going with between a 32-42" plasma. i just want to know is full hd needed or will hd ready be all thats needed. I will be using the tv to view hd channels?

    also if use know and good deals going im up for spending 400 so let me know.

    Got be be honest, they do look a tad better. But on the other hand my dad bought a Panny 37 inch last yer (720) and it looks absolutely mint.

      hmm hard choice if i want a 42" under 400 i would need to go with a hd ready if i go with a 32" then full is possible.

            naw mate decided to get the tv first then the following month get my 800. was going to do it the opposite way around but that dont make much sense .

            Thanks for the links mate just going to check them out the now. looking at the LG 42pj350 42" plasma seen it for 349 but its hd ready not full hd whats your take on this bud?

                my local use to deal in lg tv,for every 5 they sold at least 2 were faulty and always liked the panny.

                    falcon thats a LCD was thinking more Plasma isnt plasma better for faster speeds and so on. whats everyones take on the LCD's

                      both looked the same on the 2 hd boxs iv tryed tbh , 5/6 year old sammy hd ready and a new sammy full hd.
                      this is a good shop aswell All TVs | LCD TVs | Plasma TVs | Televisions | Richer Sounds

                      i don't play games ect , for me i like lcds as plasmas have a reflective look and LCD iv had are matted type , so less reflections etc

                          is the plasmas not better for the sports?

                          want a LED but out my price range the now and also dont think they have a decent lifespan
