    @smithie46

    Cable has been replaced and still same, have checked connections time and time again, i just cant figure it

    @cactikid

    Your not reading my post right i have broke it down and kept it simple in the fact it just terrestrial problems

    analogue & digital is being broadcast from Divis Mountain (Belfast)

    & have checked sky box's RF is channel 38 which does not interfere with terrestrial channels broadcast in the area

    ALSO forgot to mention when cables are connected to sky box & splitter the sky feed appears in perfect quality while other pictures are poor

      I then disconnected (RF In) & (RF Out) from sky box and joined them, so as to test the cables, still the same problems.... I just cant work out how this can happen as in reality all im really doing is extending the cable's which i have done many times without any problems...

      Now work that one out........ ha

      you must have a fault with one of these cables or connections.
      are you doing your own f-plugs.

      disconnect both these cables from both ends at sly box and splitter.
      then use a meter to test whether there is any connection between the inner core and braid.

      ok, the fault must be in the cable extension goimg from splitter to sly box
