Fitted the GeForce 8600GT 512MB DDR2 TV PCI-E into my sons pc yesterday and the Windows index has changed from 4.9 to 5.9. The overall graphics performance seems pretty impressive so pleased with the card.

so you just bought the exact same card as the original broken one then ?
try a game that needs great graphics like the cod etc etc and turn all the graphics up etc and see if it can handle it, it wont, gauranteed, but as i said earlier posts, if yer happy that is all that matters at end of day, well done in getting it going again
