laptop wont connect to internet

hi guys i have a laptop that will not connect to the internet via wireless or wired. the laptop sees the router and the internet but the the browsers dont load up even my antivirus wont update either.

ive tried restarting the router and modem ive uninstalled and reinstalled the adapters but still the same.

im running windows 7

just the laptop my desktop is connecting fine and i did go through the connection settings and ran a virus scan

i also pinged the router and it replied back fine so it connects fine.

might sound daft m8 but have you turned the wifi off on the key board ?

not tryin to be cheeky but i wouldnt be able to ping the router if it was turned off!

only thing i havent tried m8. i tried removin internet explorer and re adding it turned off firewalls too.

i switched the firewalls off and theres nothing popping up asking for any password and the parental controls arent even set up.

Try plugin an utp cable.

checked everything m8 unplugged it replugged it the desktop connects fine and the laptop sees the router no probs but just cannot get on net.

think im gonna need to reinstall windows 7 only soultion i can think of!
