    serial adapter

    installed ok when i connect my euro vox it wont talk to the box via null modem any ideas
    we are all learning each day

    have you got the correct com port??? check in device manager.

      yes ive moved it from com 1 then com 4 its picking serial adapter up but no eurovox? and the null modem works on different pc but its 20 miles away

          no m8 havin trouble finding them for xp but pc picks the dam thing up

            different drivers

            ive tried 6 drivers all pick up my cable but wont find the box?

              Have you tried changing the com port number manually? Go into device manager, go to the com port number that is displayed i.e -com1 and highlight it,right click,properties, advanced and change the com port to 2 or 3. Then try plugging your box to your pc again, See if that works if you haven't already.
              Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture.
