I tested it this morn mate, double clicked the iso and it burned automatically in nero.

and booted in to hirens.

hi m8, thanx for that, ok this is wot happened,,

downloaded hirens maneged to boot comp from cd wot it was on this comp u have to go into f11 to change boot opptions, rite it read the disc but when i got to the part were it gives u opptions as to wot u wont to fix ie: fix password when i click on that its sayin this is a demo version u need to buy the full version, so in short it wont fix the problam, dont know wot els to do now..cheers.chris..

I didnt think there was a demo ver of hirens.

Just download a copy of xp and be done with the whole thing

Buy a ext caddy. Remove HDD, take pics form drive.

Put back in and wipe.

Id rather stick 9" nails in each testi than use vista.

What is the spec of the laptop?

TBH id rather use XP or W7. W7 at a push if there is only 1gb.

You will find them on torrents or nzb some where.

all ya had to do was load the dos option in hirens and select Kon Boot and that would have bypassed the password sign in
