Hi guys, i recently was given a dell desktop PC, it had no graphics card so i got one for it, and now on start up it is asking for password, how do i get this, or bypass it to get on the pc.
Now the monitor wont come on at all now, it is like it was when i first tried it with no graphics card.
I am no expert in this field, but on the picture here, do you see where the blue monitor plug is next to the green one, well my desktop doesnt have that blue one at all instead it has two of the green ones next to each other, what are they for and what is going wrong.
Pull the bios battery out and hold the power button down for 10 seconds, leave it for 20min and put the battery back in and boot it.
When you boot it, it will prompt you to adjust date/time etc and hopefully wont ask for a password..
