Have you knocked the other stick when putting the new one in. Check the ram is seated correctly.

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

The rams must be of the same cache. Speed. You sayin they are 2 different Ram Modules.

      2700 and 3200?

Put the 1 gb in dimm slot 1 then the 512 in the other next to it.

Continous beeps (depending on boards) either means video or memory fault

This is the manual for your board

I would clear the cmos, instal the 1gb nearest to the cpu, then power up, see how that gets you. If still same then do same for other dimm (how it was originally)
