just one problem though will they not say that i've voided the warranty by changing the o/s as it originally came with vista on?

shouldn't mate, they do not warranty the os only the hardware etc..

havent broke any seals just put an illegal copy of xp on

Send it back, explain the errors, if they refuse then u know what to do, if not contact me

M8 they cant refuse it, u got to give them as much info tho, when you send them back they only look @ the system aan logs
