What type of pc do you have, what do you use it for, do you use an antivirus or run ccleaner?

Has it always been slow ? If so add more memory for starters. If it's just gone like that check for viruses and spyware etc

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Run an anti virus scan and check for adaware spyware etc if it's only recently slowed down chances are you have some or all of the above

Try stopping some services from running, also set virtual memory to a set size, and good old msconfig also helps.

take a look here Black Viper's Web Site for some great tips....

Hi, remove all music and photos may do the trick, I work in a computer shop and this is one of the main causes, mainly mp3 stored on the hard drive or use another antivirus other than norton.

no, dont do that, a pc is designed to do that

this is regular maintenance that should be carried out to keep your pc healthy

start off by doing a cleandisk in start\ programs \accessories\ system tools

                      then do a virus scan

then go to start run then type in chkdsk click run and wait

if this doesnt work, do a full scan by opening up my computer right click on your hdd, click properties. click the tools tab then check now. check bothe boxes then ok. it will ask you to restart, do this. it takes a while.

this should sort your problems, only then should you look at software issues, ie what do yo have installed that you dont use
Wavefield Ds 55cm at 13E 19E and 28E receiving everything out there on 2 dm800hd

previous life dm800hd and 500c on cable screw you nag3

First thing you can do to make your PC to run better is to use program called CCLEANER to cean all the unwanted stuff on your PC. This prog is free.

How hard is it to answer this?

How is the pc slow, loading applications, booting up, is the internet slow?

Just stating that my pc is slow is no good for people who know about these things. So really your first question is more like, what came 1st the chicken or the egg?

                              Like nige's answer tho
