Is it a new Keyboard you are using ? Try altering settings in CONTROL PANEL/ KEYBOARD.

              Addition :
              Run Antivirus, antimalware, antispyware, etc.
Run registers cleaner and clean all useless files.
If it does not work, the machine needs to be formatted
and setup new Windows (last thing you should do)
              Good luck.

Download Ccleaner. Use the disk clean up on it and also the registry tweak and then defrag the system. Download for Ccleaner here >>> Download CCleaner 2.24.1010 - Download - FileHippo.com

Rockin bob i would suggest getting some more ram
check ur motherboard manual to see how much it can take
i would say it could take upto 4gb
and all the other things like defrag and disk cleanup
also type in ur search bar MSCONFIG click the startup tab and turn off anything u dont want to start up DO NOT TURN OFF ANY RUNDLL32 OR ANYTHING POINTING TO C:\WINDOWS FOLDER

                        hope this helps

i would deffo look at how much ram you have 512 is not very much these days,at least another 512 but another gig of ram would be better, maybe its time you looked at doing a reinstall ? esp if no better result after doing defrag, ccleaner etc

                            Alternative to ccleaner

                            you can try
                            Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
                            worked for me

stick another gig of ram in mate should help or wipe it and reinstall the operating system make sure you have all drivers first could be a nightmare otherwise.......
