bios pswd SUCCESS - now HDD is required . ..

            Hello

Many thanks for providing the bios password the other day. Likewise I thanks

homever ahead of time if the are able to provide me with the HDD password.

Please continue reading - all the info you request to obtain HDD password is

            contained below. CHEERS!

            latitude D630 Bios Rev. A12

            Service Tag:
            G6RMRG1-595B

As well as the Express Service Tag:
            35237726065

            Digital-Kaos provided password:
            pass 10iae20g (2nd and 7th are zero's)

"This computer system, #G6RMRG1-595B, is protected by a password

authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without

            the correct password.

Please type in the system or administrator password and press <enter>."

Entered 10iae20g successfully and proceeded to request the HDD password

"Hard-disk #B00WFD74KJF-595B, The system primary HDD, is protected by a

password authentication system. You cannot access data on this hard drive

            without the correct password.

Please type in the hard-drive password and press <enter>."

So the only thing I was able to do was to disable all the passwords in the

'security' section in the bios EXCEPT the hard drive password. I had removed

the hard drive in order to accomplish this. I believe if i had another hard

drive to use i could reset the hard drive password then return the original

            hard drive to the D630.

                          Smoggy - HDD failed - lets re-examine . . .

1st off - thanks for the quick come back on the initial bios and now the HDD passwords Smoggy.

So HDD password provided (36vcgcmj) failed.

I don't know if the 2 "0's" after the 1st 'B' are the letter o or the number 0. They both have a dot inside of them and all characters are in upper case as well.

The D630 boots directly to the HDD password request screen regardless of selecting F2 or F12.

This is the HDD password page displayed
                          code: #B00WFD74KJF-595B

                          Easy - E
