Hello, i just bought an old Dell D620 but in the bios i can't change the bootsequence (i know i can press F12 at boot but prefer to make the bios setting)

And maybe i can also not flash my bios because of not having this password either?)

Hey, thanks smoggy. I actually tried that one. Got it fixed last night but what happened was....

I realized that my last 4 digits were 3A5B despite having the same system (D630) as other people with -595B as their last 4. Figured that something had to be up, was poking through the BIOSes and changelogs.... saw that the A18 (newest) bios included a change to the password algorithm (explained why the BIOS wouldn't accept any the passwords I could find, the one you provided included). I flashed BIOS A10 (just randomly picked an old one), which changed the last 4 digits to -595B. This apparently changed the password as well, as the one you provided worked. I input the password, changed the password to a blank one, and updated the BIOS back to A18. Seems fine and now I have OSX 10.7.4 running quite well.

Had to turn virtualization on to run VMWARE in Win7 to create a USB bootable Lion install in a Snow Leopard VM.... quite the run-around.
