pc in put wont work on plasma tv?

hi i am trying to get my pc input on my 42 inch hd ready panasonic plasma to work, i plug the vga cables in and restart the computer, and it all starts to work fine, very clear picture! but then it just disconnects its self? wondering if anybody knew how to help, thanks

Reconnect it via the "Display Properties" if you can.....

What OS are you running..... ?

the tv will be out of range and you need to see what your doing to adjust. can you have a monitor and tv plugged in?

if so, run dual display and change the output

Maza87: When you say it disconnects, do you mean it go's blank or it returns to a TV picture on another channel.....

As dctyper says change the range.....

Connect to your normal monitor and in 'Display Settings' set the resolution to 800x600 and save... then attach the TV and see if this works.....

my toshiba pc starts up and windows starts to load, on the tv, then tv goes blank and the signal reverts back to the laptop, i have tryed changing to 800X600, same results.
