My laptop is a lot slower. Need tips on how to speed it up.

may be is not cause of the staff you have in your lap top is so slow ..
slwoly can be caused from anti-virus , virus , alot of programme install in it ..

so if you reformate that will be bettre Or try to scan your computre to be sur that you don't have virus and later remove the Anti-virus and yu will see i am sur that he gonna be speed

You can try run ComboFix to cleanup your pc from any mallware.
You can find it on A guide and tutorial on using ComboFix.

When you install clear windows system, move you Desktop, My documents, and other stuff to drive D (for exsample)

When use backup tools (i use acronis true image) for backup your C (system) drive.

When pc slow or system dirty, restore your backup for less 10min and you have working and clear system. I using it very long and not install windows more. Periodically updating my backup for new install's.
