dont just rely on your resident av to keep you safe, have other stand alone avs as well, like malwarebytes, superantispyware etc etc, different avs will pick up different threats, so more avs the better

AVG for me as well, never had a problem in about 6 years or more, regularly updates its self and integrates with Outlook nicely.

all down to personal choice really - for me its AVG.
