OFF TOPIC, BUT PARTLY RELVENT:
At M-H-M the office computer would be fine up untill 4pm, where it would just die, no warning. (not sure if restarted or not)

the psu and hdd was recycled (ONCE only the bios coundn't see the drives, but they worked' so the motherboard got blamed.

the processer is/was a 3.2ghz AMD (By mercedes?) and binned the boared saved the memory and procseeer.

stuck the processer (using now as we speak) into a 1300cc computer, shows 1100cc, rather than the 3200cc (whatever i do cars).

one out of evevry 7 boots ups, hdd (all 3 of them c:= 3gb) mo monitor output, turn off, cold start no problems, never crashed!

Deadly serios (not this one)
have in the past had two motherboards what were mininging, covered in thick, pond scum fagash, spunk, chip fat and all sorts, took out bios battery, dunked in sink, wash with fresh wet water, dryed with heat-gun, refitted and no problems.

Have done the same myself with keyboards, phones and mobos.
A good way of removing collected debris if you remember to remove all sources of power and give the capacitors time to discharge.
