I have had this problem with a couple of PC`s in the past. As above, I remove / strip the lot. Blow clean all parts then reassemble. Ensure your CD / DVD player is clean, I use a cd cleaner disc, & try again. Its surprising how many discs wont read properly on different players.

Incidently, whenever I have problems like this, I always de partition the hard drive back to its raw state, then, re partition it, it seems to work sometimes.

im with lmsvvavr check your connections in pc like hard drive cd
anything usb or bluetooth in take out only have basic's in to make sure installs

if still does not install then your disc or drive itself will be the issue.

you can also try to set bios defaults or to load newer firmware to bios ...
because if you unplug every device just cdrom, hdd, ram and vga stay in pc and you try with another cdrom and ram for sure your motherboard is gone ....
        cheers

Try with another disc, if not RAM might be faulty, or , more probably the Hard disk is defective.

Once i had a pc that was impossible to install windows, boot very slow, 30 mins to load windows and so on; once i replaced the hdd it weas like new

Have you used this installation disk before?

If so, disable/remove all unnecessary hardware, and use minimal ram.

Sounds like a hard drive fault, can you install it into another PC and format it (slow, not a quick format) then run chkdisk to check and fix any problems.
                  Then try installing again.
