With AMD CPU and MB it comes with mother board disc Not sure about intell MB you could try on gigabyte website put all the numbers of your MB and it will show you what soft you can run on it. Gigabyte AMD motherboards allow you to overclock CPU and so on but I'm not sure on intell. Go to installed programs on your Pc and see if the prog is there - if it is - it could be running in a back ground.

Also looking at the setting your CPU freq multiplyer is set to 6x266.66 =1.6ghz instead of default 10x266.66 this gives you 2.6ghz thats what makes me think you got some sort of tuning soft installed or it has been changed in BIOS as Bios will allow you to go down in multiplyer but not always up above default unless CPU has unlocked multiplyer. Can you change CPU multiplyer in bios?

gregk i went into the bios and changed it to 10,and omg it worked its now running as it should with a score of 6.1,i could kiss u if i could,u have saved me a good few bob m8 and would like to thank u untold,and id like to thank cunny and redspidder for there help also,A GREAT BIG THANK U TO U ALL AAA++++++++++++
