You don't need to use the MEPD command with most of the new blackberrys.

Just put the SIM you want to use in the phone & turn it on. When it asks if you want to enter the unlock code, you select yes.

A box should appear, just type in the MEP2 code (if rayjay has provided it yet) & press select (click the trackpad button)

        Job done.

ps; after mepd says sim disabled
          network blocked
          subset disabled
          provider disabled
          corporate disabled

It does need the mep2 code to be entered.

Do you have a password set up on the phone? That would have to be entered before it will allow the code entry box to be used.
Had this problem with a customers phone, once the password was put in it allowed me to enter the unlock code. Prior to that it woudn't let me ~~~~ all.

The only other thing that's springing to my mind is the possibility that all the attempts have been used.

no mate as at 1 point he had mep box open up on inserting new sim. sorry i have been busy with stuff still am. i would change simcard leave battery out for a few mins then put back in chances are it will open mep box/.

ive never had one show blocked before but even when mep0 should still open mep box and return as error. not sure if we can reset mep on this one

its all about timing etc normally doesnt work when stressing abt it .

you can type the letters mep + 2 on simcard screen to open mep box bypassing mepd screen...

i would just insert original sim and try again

there is only 1 dm3 in the uk. all the places you see that offers dm3 service send them to this one place and they do them behind closed doors. by only having one dm3 help by this business group it prevents the dm3 falling into the hands of the cloners. i have different bit of kit. i may still be taking dm3 un on a franchise as discussed with them. btw dm3 is mainly for sl3 nokia they are not very clued up regards the blackberrys as i spoke with the fella that does the unlock deals.

before anyone tries pulling apart anything i have said dont bother....

sorry mate i can not do the 9500 for you as have a lot of stuff going on at the moment.

i have lots of screens to fit over the next few days and need to concentrate on my website and relaunch of my own business for when my ebay ban is lifted...
