from what I know avira has the highest detection , I detect viruses and malware when all other av's claim my system is clean including nod32, I've used nod32 kaspersky avg webroot bitdefender rising panda mse , nod32 is probably detecting a false positive, I'll stick with avira

Well I know of few professionals using Avira, I assume its a home anti-virus package...

I know someone who loaded the Bojs unlocker on his system and it hooked itself in and refused to stop loading each time the system booted. Took him ages to get it removed completely!

                    So, the choice is yours!!

Plus of course there has been a perfectly good unlocking program on the forum for ages!

okay , good. now I have a problem , I unlocked my e173 and my friends e173 but they cant be detected on his mac , same thing on my pc , I re-installed windows and the modems are not being detected I have to manually install the drivers.......errr......I might have played around with the "disable cd " function on the unlocker on both modems out of curiosity , flashing a different dashboard version didn't help, any suggestions ?

Neither of these programs would I trust to do exactly what they say!

Attached is MDMA which is a tool for Data Cards.

You must disable any other dashboard software before running!

It also has command line switches and the one you need is /u2diag:<x> switch where <x> is your selection and 255 enables both CDROM (emulation) and SD Card.

See the readme file this should explain everything!

I must be doing something wrong, this is the syntax I use
                            Code:
                             mdma.exe /u2diag:255 /port:com 6
but I keep getting " warning : incorrect value for ^U2DIAG sent "

                              Put the port command first:

                              MDMA /port:com6 /u2diag:255

                              if no joy try:

                              MDMA /port:com6 /u2diag:1
