            Got this working on a three e220 dongle (unblocked) and using the O2 I-sim posted earlier in the thread, would like to say a big thank you to all those who have contributed to this thread, ~~~~in genius, cheers

                Got my dongle today. put it in pc running xp sp3 installed drivers. clicked on flashupdate and get a message "source file path error" WTF
                Any idea what i'm doing wrong

                    as well as the drivers did you install the connection manager that is loaded on the dongle before you tried flashing?

                        Yea done that m8. got it working by putting xp on lappy. Though ive seen loads of posts of people flashing succesfully under windows 7.

                            Forgot to mention last night that i ran the flash program under win xp sp2 settings under win 7:

                            Right click on exe of prog.
                            Went to check compatability or something along those lines, it checks what version of windows it was made for, then will change settings for it.
                            20 mins later it was flashed.

                            Sorry bulldog mate forgot to mention that.

                                Hi (great forum!) i just found this website today and ive been hooked and reading all day!!

                                i have ordered the 3 dongle, but the link (on page 2) for the o2 simcard, from fleebay, has expired...

                                i have done a search on ebay but it brings up so many different o2 simcards all for different prices?!

                                can anybody point me in the right direction please?

                                how much did you guys pay for your simcards?

                                    just go into any o2 shop and ask for a pay and go 3g sim for a i phone. these are freee, then top up ?10 and thats it ..maca..

                                        thanks mate, but the nearest shop is miles away from me, and i wouldnt be able to go until atleast next week....

                                                Yes m8 they are free from the shop. just top up with a tenner when you get it

                                                    It's ok m8.I was gonna flash it in compatability mode but had an acronis backup image of xp sp3 for my lappy so i put that on and flashed it with no probs.

                                                        m8 even if u buy one off e bay u still need to go to the o2 shop to top it up with the tenner to activate the sim card so u might as s well just get a free one from the shop top it up (which as i ve said activtes it ) and away u go

                                                            wrong mate im afraid.. you can buy the one from eBay then top up online at o2.co.uk..

                                                            This activates your sim and sets everything up..
