          See here:

I along with Canker_Canison and others have done our best in supporting you not with just the code but in the required procedures with some modems!

But it seems that a member with just two posts on the forum is willing to take over our roll! May be its because he didn't get a code because he didn't follow the rules and so wants to become superman... Who knows, I really don't give a hoot!

He reflects so well the standard of members that can be found on many forums now days!

          LOL!

At this point I shall just speak my mind.

We know there are calculators for generating NHK codes for these modems. At least 3 are available on DK in this very section.

But some people are not technically adept at double clicking an icon & typing in their IMEI, these people need someone to hold their hand.
Others just don't trust .exe downloads due to the risk of virus & trojan infections.

What ever their reasons they asked for help & were given any info they needed to complete their request.

But some saw this as a way to make money. Rules were put in place to stop, or hinder, freeloaders & those people looking to profit from Jim's kind & caring nature.

Maybe you should read through the stickies in the garage section. Although nowhere near the same level, there were people using this thread to profit from free information provided by the hard working community here on DK.

We have no problem with people using these calculators. But what we were trying to stop were the masses of people who register just to get a free code.

You, a newbie, seem to think you know what's best. I will not be trying to talk Jim into reversing his decision. Or supplying any codes or help myself while Jim is withholding this service.

With any luck people will start to understand & respect why rules are made.

              Dear Captain Richard Head,

What you in your pathetic ignorance are missing in this whole issue is that we support those people who are asking for codes! In many cases you can not simply just enter the code as various providers have their software doctored so that it does not prompt for a code!

You know that you have broken our simple rules - You did this on purpose because as a new member with just one post to your name you were refused a code!

We ask that people have been a member for one month or have contributed to the forum with five valid posts, in return they get their code and as much support as is needed to unlock their device!

So might I respectfully suggest that you crawl back into the mud hut of your choice and let us get on with helping others?

                        1. Just insert a SIM card which belongs to locked network. then plug your modem & run mobile partner application. definitely it will prompt a small dialog box asking about Unlock Code.

                        2. if you have enough knowledge about AT commands you can use,

                          Previous reply is not complete:

Insert a SIM that is NOT accepted by the modem and a box should appear asking for the unlock code. If it does not occur then install the unbranded PC installed version of Mobile Partner then try again.

For links to software see first post in this thread!

If this does not work some E1552 have "doctored" firmware so you may need to flash a generic E1552 firmware to the device.

You can use MDMA (see attachment) to turn the CDROM (and microSD) features on and off - See the text file in the ZIP file for full details.

Remember to shut down ALL other dashboard software before running MDMA.

If you place MDMA in the root of C: drive, then use the following at the Start/Run box in Windows:

                              c:\mdma /u2diag:0 - Disable CDROM & microSD

                              c:\mdma /u2diag:1 - Enable CDROM Only

                              c:\mdma /u2diag:255 - Enable CDROM & microSD

                              c:\mdma /u2diag:256 - Enable microSD Only
