1. Download Firmware
2. Close all Dashboard Software
3. Run Firmware Upgrade
4. Do not interrupt until completed!
5. Remove modem when completed.
6. Reboot PC
7. Insert modem.

1. Download Firmware
2. Close all Dashboard Software
3. Run Firmware Upgrade
4. Do not interrupt until completed!
5. Remove modem when completed.
6. Reboot PC
7. Insert modem.

Yes I do follow your Instruction but after running the Firmware E155XUpdate_11.609.18.00.00.B418.zip it ask me for a password due to version incompatibility because my firmware Version was 11.608..13.10.158.
*(I Found out that the password is your FLASH CODE, It actually Installs the software but still got this Error)
"An error occurred during the update procedure; Failed to update your Firmware Data Card"
-Update Failure!-

I also Try the lower version like the Firmware E1552Update_11.608.13.00.158.B416.zip but in the end it says -Update Failure!-.
I am about to give up unlocking my modem, . Is there any ways or will it be possible to unlock my modem BOSS Jim.Mahoney, What do you think?

If the flash code is accepted without an error, I would check to see if you have anything related to the modem still running on your PC that might cause the failure!

Alternatively, you may be able to use www.dc-unlocker.com but it is not a free service!!

I've only ever come across two Mac users since 3G USB modems hit the scene! Provided the dashboard isn't doctored like some of the networks "own dashboards" the principles remain the same for unlocking...

I doubt if the code will work as Huawei have changed their locking system! Try ONCE and post the result!
