        1 - Switch ON your Blackberry 9300 Curve 3G with your current network/service provider's SIM card.
        2 - Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> advanced settings>SIM card and press select.
        3 - While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mepd)
        4 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.
        5 ? Type mep2. Type letters mep then While holding the SHIFT KEY, type 2.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mep2).
        6 - Release the shift key.
        7 - You will now be prompted to enter the Network MEP2 code that we sent you 16 digits. (it will also state how many attempts left)
        8 - Enter the Unlock Code.
        9 - Enter Return/Enter.
        10 - The Blackberry 9300 Curve 3G should then be unlocked.

            Don't think you need to do that j.efc

            Try putting a non accepted SIM in the phone. as in try a voda SIM if it's an O2 handset.

            It should tell you the phone needs the network code. Just follow what it says on the screen.

                      yes mate only certain blackberrys let you input code with incorrect sim

                      check on the mepd screen as long as the network is active mate then it will let you type mep2 to open the box. if everything is disabled then it wont open the box mate as its already unlocked. if its active take battery out for 10 seconds then try again bb software is not good mate

NOT AVAILABLE, connection.NOT CONNECTED.and on bb internet service it says not connected and on bb enterprise server it says not connected, just wonderin if phones ~~~~~ed an should be binned, thanks again for all your help mate

                              well try it wiv a sim that you know is active. even if barred you still get wifi. plug it into blackberry desktop and do an update.

                              never bin a blackberry i cant get enough of them
