          Plug and Play really.

I read on another forum that homeplugs are really a type of radio transceiver, so it makes no difference where you plug them in as long as they are within range. A bit like a baby monitor if you like. I use Devolo myself.

i think i heard if the extension has surge protection you may have problems, they take the signals through the mains but to work need to be on the same circuit/ring

Yes i heard the same thing ,but cant confirm this .
If all your downstairs sockets blow a fuse and your upstairs sockets are still working
This would indicate a diff circuit and these may not work
Can anybody confirm this ,Cheers ............Paul

hi all i have found orange devolo plug to work well with blade 7000s plug in and a few seconds later working great with receiver, i did try vonets bridge but that didnt work at all over distance i needed data to travel, so would recommend orange devolo high speed 85 mbps home plug , around 30 pound
