also on falconsat seen the uno will be 399 and the ultimo at 599.

If you know any site that will be selling them cheaper that would be much appreciated.

I dont regret getting my clone receivers at the time i was wanting to just view the channels and so on but now it has turned in to a hobby and now i want to get in to original receivers.

i do agree that original dreamboxes are vastly over priced and i'm not anti clone but i do think people put way too much stock in them when comparing them to original boxes such as the Vu's and the CT's.

as for the Uno it's a fantastic box, i have only used it with the VIX image as i am a beta tester for VIX but so far the box has been very stable and only had one greenscreen issue which was rectified within a hour by the andy and the team.

hmm sounds interesting if you get your hands on the ultimo post here and let us know how it performs please.

Also would you say it is worth spending the cash on the original 8000HD is there any extra features it can do that any other Engima 2 receiver cant do?

personally i would not bother with the DM8000 its far too expensive a box. but it does have the ability of using a dvd drive and 4 tuners if i remember correctly.

i would go for the DUO / et9000 or wait for the ultimo rather than buy a dm8000.

im really thinking about the ultimo is it right that it will have a triple tuner and i also heard a claim that it will only run a fixed dish is this correct if so that would put me off it as I will eventually be installing a motorised set up.

it was a site claiming to be selling them once released they had in the description that it was for a fixed dish.

Nice triple tuner, quad tuner i cant see me using but a triple could come in handy at times.
