blade ip set up, help??

just purchased a blade7000 satellite box, sorted out the cardshare but unsure how to keep my ip address fixed.
my provider changes my ip every now and then and i think this may interupt my service. is there a way around this?

You can setup a free DynDNS account to track your IP, you would then give the dyndns address to the server.

I take it your box has a direct connection ? if not the Router most likely keeps the same IP range no matter if the real IP changes.

Although press menu then look down the 1st list for ip and set a static IP in your routers range.
