what else is possible with this sized dish?

hi godzilla i have used a 60cm white dish with tm gold 0.1 LNB.The sats i have picked up worked well but some freqs are on different beams so you will not receive them all but 0.1 LNB made a lot difference,The sats i received,53 EAST,45 EAST,42 EAST,39 EAST,36 EAST,28 EAST,23.5 EAST,19.2 EAST,16 EAST,13 EAST,9 EAST,5 EAST,1 WEST,5 WEST,8 WEST,12.5 WEST,15 WEST,24.5 WEST,27.5 WEST,30 WEST.The weather was cloudy/sunny.i put the dish on tm motor and zapped round in about 3 hours using s/v combo receiver.i hope this helps mate.

Hi godzilla, I just googled your t90 dish and it's some baby.
I would suggest ,assuming you have a clear view east to west, that you probably should focus the center of the dish to 5e or 9e to allow for a slightly less selaction of sats in the west.

            Cheers old boy

I am very lucky as we are in a valley we have a really large clear view of the East. West there will only be 3 or 4 good sats to get a beam from which actually have some channels like 7, 5, 4, 0.8w. I guess you are right as I hope to catch as much as I catch up to 42/45E.

I forgot to add - with all these new channels - i need to invest in a new box - A twin is out of the budget but everyone says I should go enigma as it has epg.

I guess that means I can have a epg for all the sats or does it mean I can built a epg for all the sats?

So am I down to a vu+ solo, xtrend amd DM800HD?

Any thoughts on this or will a normal technomate HD do the job?

              cheers

I'm not well up on the different boxes godzilla but if you posted a thread-'Which box for' stating what you are interested in getting then plenty of helpful people on here will put you right.
                Best of luck. Pat.
