starview hd combo sat side problems

hi all i have starview hd combo with lan and i am trying to get to work i put the cline in and says it is connected but the incrypted channels still scrambled if i try the same cline on my friends dreambox which i am borrowing for couple of weeks it works fine all the encrypted channels are working can somebody pleas help

Try rebooting combi, mines sometimes freezes if Ive been watching FTA then switch to encrypted, was told that the cccam switches itself down if not required.

yes but this happens even if i am watching an encrypted channel and i to switch the box off for a couple of hours before it works if i just switch it off for a couple of mintes the channels are still scrambled

R U able to get any of the scrambled channels, what version of carling r u using

i had to do a complete factory reset to change the mac address since then i have not been able to flash the box with any firmware because evertime i try flash with any caling sfirmware it reaches 20% it fails the only software that flashedwas groverider but even that would switch the box but after that i would get four 0s box and thats it no picture could not access the menu or anything so idid a factory reset and then i just added the cline without flashing the box with any firmware.

This might be no help but sometimes the scrambled channels take while to clear, are you leaving it on long enough, well few minutes.

When I switch from fta to scrambled it takes a few minutes sometimes and hd channels even longer.

After grooverider think you will have to put on latest carling or knightrider.

When you reset box thats what happens.

I'm running Carling+ F521.uad, machine running perfect, still no joy with streaming though, Mast r u any further forward. cheers Steve

after i flash the box with groverider the box goes dead i can access anything no picture cant access the menu all i get is four 0s on the box i have to connect it to the computer and factory reset it

Starview_HD_Combo_+_0128.uad, i used this when i had same problem then put nightrider on aswell and it works perfect,i dont no if its in download section but if its not just google it,if u get no luck pm me yr email and il send it like that

what grooverider r u using, should be GrooveRider_HD_Combo_+_csnet_0130.uad

No further forward have tried 3 different laptops with no joy. Been meaning to try with my desktop but not had chance but wil do first chance I get.
