    New to satellite

    hi all im new on here and am looking at geting a protek 9750hd ip with 1mtr motorised dish. i have a sth facing wall to install dish on do i have to have some sort of power to the dish and also would this set up enable me to watch the 3 pm kickoffs or would i need a sub to someone cheers Tommy

    The set top box supplies the power mate, so no additional power supply. And yes you will be able to watch 3pm kick off with cs

          hi didnt think i would have to go down that route thought it would be just plug and play dont think i have the it knowhow for all that guess i'll have to stick with motd sly cheers all

            We was all like you at one stage mate,if you stick around read a few posts and get some friendly help can set you up no problem.
            Personally if your after hd buy a Dreambox 800hd,can buy one from China for just over 100 quid and lots of support on here.

                  Hi andy 91 any idea how much id pay to get a dreambox 800 hd clone with 320 or 500 gb hardrive? And also do the newer models have that rev m built so its glitch free? im reading things but seem to be going in circles. any advice greatly appreciated thanks.

                    If you buy a Dreamboix800hd get the Pro version with the M 801A Tuner,from China your looking at 110 quid delivered.
                    I would buy a sata hard drive from UK.

                      Andy's right. Buy the hard drive from the uk, hard drives are pretty cheap nowadays. Personally I would use external hard drive as the dreambox already hot enough. Go to hotukdeals > computers u should see loads of hard drives

                      By the 500gb not much space if u going to record in HD

                        Thanks guys im looking to have the hardrive fitted inside and i will have the dreambox on a usb fan would that be ok. and where in the uk would i get the sata hardrive and how much many thanks again.

                            If you get a protek you will not need to looking for cs, it comes with a "gift".
