are you using a laptop or a pc tower? make sure you have the correct com port selected and if using a laptop/usb connector that all drivers are installed. regards mdt

i have found out that there is another lead with a different product number which also fits which is the one i should have bought as someone else on the forum had the same problem as me till they discovered this other lead then it was ok then , im using a pc tower .

hi i went to maplins this morning changed the lead as it was the wrong one sorted out the problem regarding connection issue it working now but its saying the sofware is not compatable have you got anymore sofware please .

here m8 try this loader and software.. this software is the last official moresat software and is over 18 months old. if this software doesnt load then try the ali-c software in this thread. regards mdt

i have downloaded both of these and they are list of codes not software m8 the last one i downloaded was alimupg58 and it had a green circles and arrow going out the top when i downloaded these they didnt show up like that just as codes ?

are you using winrar to extract the files??? as ive checked the files and they are ok on my system. regards mdt

i have got winrar i extracted the files but they are showing up as codes still instead of com setting with the grey box were you connect i havent got that ? its strange because when i extracted the other one i tryed yesterday after i downloaded i did get the grey box were it says connect and please turn on your STB ?
