    Has anyone got 4.8 east Viasat in ireland

    has anyone got this system up and running, im in the midlands (ireland) and using a triaz 1m dish and not getting anything, any help would be appreciated!!

      I am in Manchester with a 70cm dish I can get it. you need to get it set up on thor then it should piss getting 4.8e.

        depends where you are in Ireland, if you are in the west, forget it, the footprint is vey tight and falls of dramatically the further west you are.

              Right ive done that now and what am i meant to do now, it just gives me details of elevation and how far i am from it, how do i know if i can revceive it? regards

                select satellite
                scroll down to dish size and satellite
                and it will list dish size required

                  No postcodes in Ireland, at least outside of Dublin.
                  Try satbeams.com look at the footprints section, check 5e Nordic beam.

                        It might, (feedhorn) if the dish is big enough. But they might be expensive for an offset dish

                              yeh it says im outside footprint, no help there, i also tried my cousins address in manchester and it said the same but he is getting it no problem so that website isnt accurate
