if money is not a problem i would say go for a ET / XTREND 9000 or a Vu+Duo. these boxes are light years ahead of the dreamboxes in their support for example the dreambox's are running a linux kernal that is alomst 5 years old where xtrend are now experimenting with the newest kernals in the 3.0 range. personally i would say avoid the spiderbox like the plague. yes it's HD picture quality is very good but your totally reliant on a so called gift package that can and has been withdrawn at the drop of a hat. if HD is not important to you but you still want a linux based box go with a TM600 i have two of these and there easily one of the best E1 boxes out there and dead easy to setup too.

which ever way you decide to go, i would recomend you go to
        Code:
        www.world-of-satellite.co.uk
as his after sales support can not be beaten and his prices are very very good. plus he does not sell any of those clone rubbish either so you know what your buying.

P.S, google cardshare for more, Can't talk much here on the subject!

yes a TM is a technomate. the TM600 while a E1 box is a very good box. is have two setup in bedrooms and they by far beat my official DM600 hands down. but as you said money is no object have a look towards a ET9000 yes your looking at a expensive box but your easily going to get 5 to 10 years worth of use out of it and it's fully HD / 3D compliant.
