go to any channel and press 9991 on your remote a menu should appear and in there you will find your cline, just note everything down and your good to go.
But you won't lose your cline when updating firmware you only lose them when you factory reset the box, but id still make a note of them just in case.

you wont lose em dnt worry if you upgrade tho. The only way to overite the password is to do a factory reset but then you will deffo lose the cline n the info but i could be wrong.
Like i said you won't lose the cline if your just doing a firmware update

Hi fellas,
I wonder if anyone can help me...
Whenever I switch channels via the number pad on the remote, the box seems to lose its signal and I get a 'no video/audio' message on the screen. I then have to swtch the unit to stanby and back on for the channel to show up. It doesn't happen if I switch channels via guide or prg up/down.
Any ideas?Comment

Update
Just downloaded the latest BM7000s firmware from 1st page BM7000s-05-10-11-7ex, have noticed it does not end with .stb just ends with 7ex, before I flash my box and it goes flash, am I rigfht in saying to rename the unzipped file so it ends with .stb then the box will recognise it?
I renamed the file, ending it with .stb so the box would see it, it does see the file but as soon as you try to load it, "Invalid STB file", tried renaming it ending with 7e.stb to no avail, has anybody else had this problem, the blade took tha last firmware with no hickupsComment

Update
Its not seen as a file on the memory stick although it is there cause I just put it there, wierd, will give it another go, I am in utils, download, and as soon as I select the file, it tries to read then says "Invalid STB file"
Just downloaded the zip file again, its writing to the blade as I write, the file must have become corupt as I unzipped first time around, box reads 100% success, excellent, thanks for the updated file with the 9991 option, greatComment
