Latest HD9000
I recently downloaded the latest march 2012 patch for my SB.HD9000. I now find my special austrian progs have dissapeared, can I revert back to the Nov 2011.? Will that get me back to the previous setup?
I did make a clanger updating this latest patch and lost everything, somehow I missed something down the line with the factory resets I think. I think my prog list should have been saved, does it save on the usb stick?
Thanks.Comment

yes you can use any patch you like, even older ones, although the mar 2012 patch should be the one you are using as none of these patches actually open any channelsI recently downloaded the latest march 2012 patch for my SB.HD9000. so enable the patch, enable ucas and then load the latest spiderbox HDsoftcam for any channels opened by it, and also any biss channels need their keys putting in manually too
when you backup your channel data its backed up to usb stick, but you do this manually from the menu
a factory reset clears out the channel list, your location, and any other presets
ps:- the last softcam is listed here

Thanks again, by the way. What actually changes in the new versions, say version Nov 11 and Mar 12. What does these patches actually do?
Also what does the softcam software do?

they never publish what the changes are to the patches, you just have to assume they add fixes or change the menus or whatever
as for the softcams, they are what is left of the old types of keys that patches allow to open channels, like bulsat irdeto channels
if you open the softcam in notepad you can see the sections and keys, and you can copy and paste in new ones as they change, which is what the fileguys do
so the channels you "lost" were probably the ones opened by the softcam, and you needed to enable ucas and have the latest softcam installed to reopen those channels
and you need to put in biss keys by remote control to open any biss channels, there is a thread on here by another member that has those keys and channels listed too
so with the march 2012 patch, the ucas enabled, the latest softcam installed and any biss keys put in by remote control you will open whatever is openComment
