' 4.2.2 Feeds/channels are able to be viewed via the Vu ( and many linux boxes) via home streaming. This is where you tune the Vu into the channel and then stream it to your computer to view the channel.

its like the freq the Chanel is being streamed

Not quite. Its a video compression scheme that exploits the human perception of colour to save bandwidth.

Quite difficult to explain, but do some reading up on chroma subsampling to get the jist.
Chroma subsampling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

4:2:2 is often used for broadcast feeds,as better quality is needed for post production/editing purposes (but uses more bandwidth), than the 4:2:0 domestic feeds we receive.

Should add that there's not many domestically available receivers capable of decoding 4:2:2 feeds other than one of the AZ boxes (can't recall which model ,though) and some PC tuner cards.

As far as i'm aware none of the VU+, Dreamboxes and there like are capable of decoding 4:2:2 feeds directly, but it may be possible as mtv1 suggests that the feeds could be streamed to/decoded by a PC, though i've never tried it.
