' 4.2.2 Feeds/channels are able to be viewed via the Vu ( and many linux boxes) via home streaming. This is where you tune the Vu into the channel and then stream it to your computer to view the channel.
4:2:2 is often used for broadcast feeds,as better quality is needed for post production/editing purposes (but uses more bandwidth), than the 4:2:0 domestic feeds we receive.
Should add that there's not many domestically available receivers capable of decoding 4:2:2 feeds other than one of the AZ boxes (can't recall which model ,though) and some PC tuner cards.
As far as i'm aware none of the VU+, Dreamboxes and there like are capable of decoding 4:2:2 feeds directly, but it may be possible as mtv1 suggests that the feeds could be streamed to/decoded by a PC, though i've never tried it.
