Can you point me in the direction of a good image with the correct cam installed as well as the bouquets etc that I need?
Is it ccam 2.1 I need?

i presume its a dm500 ?? if so try that on got cccam 2.1.4 installed

Thanks for that man. Just went to use dream up to flash the image to the box and went to plug the crossover cable I ordered and noticed that I ordered the wrong one. The one on my laptop seems to be a female and have 15 pin receivers. Anyone know what cable I need? Or are there alternatives? Network cable perhaps?

you have the wrong equipment , the 15 pin socket is a vga port for a monitor , you need a 9 pin port for a null modem cable , same as is on the back of your dreambox , otherwise you will damage both items

get a desktop pc or laptop running xp that has a standard 9 pin com port installed , then try again
