Viasat blank screen at weekend for 3pm ?

yep agree manic i think there just playing about with something at the moment with certain boundaries ie if a certain seller has been selling cards in the uk i think there going after those cards first

The only way Viasat know where the cards & boxes are, is if the seller tells them surely.

If the seller does not tell viasat where they , then as Manic says, they have no way of knowing where those boxes are.

Also some of these card flying around are multi room cards.

But i have the contract for each individual card & box which are totally new & separate individual contracts.

Then you have in your hands all the info you require for a full refund as what you have is not what you paid for.

Well i hope you are right Manic.

The problem is that in Lithuania , they are saying their cards are still fine includng Pre Paid ones.

I would have take one back to Lithuania & show them.

I have already showed them the screenshot saying it is blocked in both English & in the Lithuanian ...(see one of my earlier posts in this thread for the Lithuanian language message)..& Viasat have said they don't understand why that message would be there & could offer no solution at present.

It might be worth sending one back for them to exchange i guess.

If they really do not know what the issue is, get them to kill old cards and send you new ones simple as that.

That might not be a bad idea killing old cards & getting replacements.

Might have a talk with my supplier about that to see what the costs would be (shipping new cards etc) although i guess it wouldn't be a lot & certainly worth it.

But i think we should give it one more weekend to see what happens.

On my card prem league hd and golf still working and extra pl 7 was showing that it was not locked although no program on, unlike 1-6 which was showing padlock, anyone elses like this?

Who know's , maybe it is a software problem & they are working through it.

The Lithuanian one only goes upto PL5, not 7 so i can't check.

You must have a Swedish or Danish set up.

just been talking to aerial and sat distrubtion in newcastle , he says cards allover were blocked ..installers panic etc.. he recons 3 pm are finshed ..also on another forum guys was saying swedish cards were effected ...

Yes exactly. That is what the EU judgement was about. It had nothing to do with who owned what rights. It had to do with HOW they were being broadcasted across the EU. You CANNOT have people in ROME PARIS MADRID ATHENS etc watching 3pm matches but NOT in LONDON LIVERPOOL GLASGOW MANCHESTER etc. The 3pm matches should have been made available to EVERYONE. That is what the judgement was about, NOT who owned the rights. To be honest i have been saying it for years that i dont know why pubs etc in this country did not take the EPL/SKY to court a long time ago. Regards.

That's not true , the EU jugememt is about freedom of trade within the EU.

The judgement is about companies trying to block products being sold from an EU country to another EU country.

The EPL are trying to block this trade
