Viasat blank screen at weekend for 3pm ?

All my channels clearing at the moment on Lithuanian package, just watching the Golf right now live.

Although still getting the Blocked message on Xtra PL but that's expected ofcourse.

Here is food for thought.....My mate purchased a official Viasat Baltic box and official Viasat card off ebay for ?300 as the person he got it from said that it no longer shows football at 3pm on a saturday. Ok that may be the truth, but when we tried it by being read with a Omnikey reader / Debian etc the football is clearing at 3pm on a saturday......I wonder if the card has to be in a official box for it to be blocked before kick off ??? My mate is laughing his nuts off.....Really weird this one...

I thought Viasat Sweden was not affected ?? Can anyone clarify exacly whats supposed to be on or off ?? To me its looking so random.

Was meant to be only Baltic, but obviously they msut have ways of tracking other subs as well.
Mate paid big bucks, but dealer refunded.

I think the Swedish one is different as their terms state all
subscribers must be Swedish nationals living in Sweden or words to that effect.

The reason why somebody's swedish card might be turned off is probalby because the above terms were broken & they will turn those cards off when they find out.
May have also been a multi room card.

The Baltic ones were not turned off, it was some programming that was restricted, that's all.

I contacted the supplier of my card and it was turned back on.
Apparantly the receiver had missed an authorization signal, 10 minutes later he'd rectified it.
Still no 3pm, but it is a Baltic card.

This card doesn't happen to be in a server by any chance does it or was the official box un plugged for a few weeks ?

No, genuine card, genuine pvr plus box.

two different people I know have them WITHOUT 3pm kick off's

I also know 2 others who have the Swedish version and are working fine.

Q. Can the non working boxes be retuned to Sweden from say latvia to enable them to work again please

I have already thought about that but Latvian & Lithuanian have their own channles on the card & that card is paired to that box, so you wouldn't get anywhere sending it back to Sweden as they would just send it on to Latvia.
