have just checked all bouquets are showing.
did you press "ok" followed by the blue button? this should show a dropdown list of providers.

when you press menu you should see the "Boris T" logo in the bottom righthand corner along with the latest keyfile number 126X.if you then scroll to system information firmware version should be version 1.17.

yeah probably just needed the box turning off and back on for the auto update to kick in.should be ok now have never had any probs with mine.

Can anyone give a quick Protek 9760 set up guide? I am receiving good signal, but the quality is zero...any tips? I have a 100cm dish and it has a motor...

Latitude = 53.4047, Longitude = -2.3159
Lat = 53 degrees, 24.3 minutes North
Long = 2 degrees, 19.0 minutes West

That is what I got after entering my postcode on satsig.net

If and when I get quality signal, how do I do the channel search? do I have to search each satellite one after the other? or do I just download a channel list? if so where please...Thanks Thanks in advance....Sorry I'm a newbie

try this one mate I"v sent a channel list as well if you use the list put it in 1st before setting up the box/motor.and double check your latitude/longitude settings for USALS enter your lat as 53.0 north and your longitude as 2.3 West

sweet, its just done a auto update after putting in my network settings( relief ,no wonder people buy theese boxes already done }

no card needed with the protek just need a broadband connection and either motorised dish or multi lnb setup that can get at least 13E,16E,19.2E and 23.5E.once they are patched and channel list entered they are good to go(some come pre-patched with channels already entered)and are plug&play.

It was more the other frequency i saw it clear It was coming from greece.

It was very keep if the decoding happened local, which is why i was curious.

Just upgraded my dish from a 13/19 monoblock to a system with a motorised dish with single LNB.

My installer set the Motorised System option to USALS, and amended the long/lat figurers.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to scan for channels on, say, 16 or 23.5, and only have what I had before on 13 and 19. Can anyone help get me started?
